When Is the RIGHT TIME for a Career Change?

Was asked this at dinner the other evening, and thought I'd set it out for you: Is there a 'right time' to make a career change?

To most of us it comes JUST AFTER the Pink Slip, and its a gotta-do more than a wanna-do...

But what's YOUR take on it?

what are you trying to say? i communicate my ideas in plain english. i CAN write with fancy verbs and adjectives. i know how to do that. however, people don't find that as interesting as just getting the facts and my ideas. i know every grammatical concept known to man. I know what gerunds, adverbial clauses, etc are and how to use them. don't tell me how to use the language.

Ah, Will, welcome back.

I wasn't attacking, Sir, and you do normally write well, as I said in my post.

I did not want to publicly reference an earlier post to Treason Forest, wherein you were quite hazy as to meaning. It wasn't a BAD post, and it WAS shortly after you'd begun, so I simply call it to your good attention.

You weren't being told HOW to use English, just to be ever watchful for mistrakes, as it is difficult enough to communicate when all our pieces are in place!

Thank you for taking time to post, and I thank you for having a civil tongue as you posted, Sir.

"Dan" is based on Dan Wrather, of "These papers are fake but accurate," fame. Did you LISTEN to the MP3?

Or are you waiting for the wind to shift?
